responsibilities of their offices. |

Legion Auxiliary state convention in July. The Governor is
telling of her experiences and she is surrounded by members
of the MGS state committee. |

| The Girls State office is open almost 24/7, or at least
it seems so. No matter what time, staff appreciates a friendly
smile and gives them right back. |

| Staff members along with Governor and Superintendent of
Missouri Highway Patrol at the Missouri Veterans Home. These
women along with the elected 7 county sheriffs visited the
veterans and brought smiles and warm wishes. |

| During the week, each city makes a banner. They are judged
and whether the banner wins of not, city pride is evident. |
