Food Blog

Let me start off by saying, I love trying new foods and I love giving them a good try. That being said, I was expecting a lot worse food, so you could say that I am kind of impressed. Now I’m not going to say that the food here is amazing or 5-star restaurant quality is but it’s not the worst in the world. I also would like to add that we are aware that it is very difficult to plan and prepare meals, especially during covid. We are very thankful for all of the lunch staff and are very grateful for the food they serve.

I will start with the dinner option on Tuesday, June 22. For those with the vegetarian option, dinner consisted of a vegetable lasagna made up of various vegetables and a white alfresco sauce, sautéed vegetables, garlic bread (optional), a salad (optional), a rice cereal treat (optional), and a drink of their choice (Mirah’s dinner which is pictured choose water). Normal dinners consisted of a chicken alfredo pasta dish, sautéed vegetables, and the same optional sides (salad, bread, rice cereal treat, and drink of their choice). Overall my consumption of the regular meal was pretty ok. It was one of the better meals and the rice cereal treats are AMAZING!!
