Frida Rodriguez is a 16 year old soon to be senior at Van Horn High School in Independence, MO. A wise woman once said, “They thought I was a Surrealist, but I wasn't. I never painted dreams. I painted my own reality”(Frida Khalo). As a journalist and an Editor in Chief of the Girls State Gazette, Frida has sought out to find the true story but paint it in a way that might inspire others.
