I know that all delegates will receive initial delegate confirmation in a letter by U.S. mail near April 1. The letter will contain information regarding final instructions to download the 2011 Delegate Information Packet from this website. If by chance the confirmation letter gets lost in the mail, I will take responsibility to go to the website and download the 2011 Delegate Information Packet.
I know that the only way to get the 2011 Delegate Information Packet is to download it from the website; a hard paper copy will not be mailed.
Informational meetings regarding MGS 2011 called "Briefings" are held throughout the state in the spring. Each American Legion Auxiliary District will host a briefing. I know that I will be contacted regarding the briefing held by the district within my area and I know that my family is also invited to attend with me. The list of scheduled briefings will be included in the confirmation US mailing near April 1. If I am not personally contacted, I know that I should contact the chair person's name that is printed on the schedule.
If I am a Delegate and I can no longer attend MGS, I will contact someone - school counselor, American Legion Auxiliary Unit or District Chair or the website "contact us", as soon as possible so that an alternate can be selected to take my place.
