This is the web site of The American Legion Auxiliary Missouri Girls State program.  You can reach us at 600 Ellis Blvd, Jefferson City, MO 65101 or via e-mail at headquarters@missourigirlsstate.org

For each visitor to our web page, our webserver automatically recognizes only the consumer's domain name, IP address, referring URL and other non-personal details.

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit (based on their IP address), information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations, name and address, telephone number, fax number.

The information we collect automatically by our web server is used to improve the content of our web site and for internal review and is then discarded.

With respect to cookies: We use cookies to record session information, such as items that consumers add to their shopping cart at the ALA MGS Online Store.

If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by contacting us. To stop text messages, reply to any message with the word "STOP" and you will no longer be communicated to via that channel.

The American Legion Auxiliary Missouri Girls State program does not make the e-mail addresses or contact information of those who access our site available to other organizations

When you apply for our program, you will receive periodic mailings, and perhaps telephone calls, emails and/or text messages (text if you opted in during the application process), from us with information on the upcoming session. Following your experience at our program, iIf you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by contacting us. Please provide us with your exact name and address and/or telephone number.

With respect to Ad Servers: We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.

From time to time, we may use participant/sponsor information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our web site periodically.

Customers may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by contacting us.

Upon request we provide site visitors with access to all information [including proprietary information] that we maintain about them, unique identifier information (e.g., citizen ID, customer number, or password) that we maintain about them, transaction information (e.g., dates on which customers made purchases, amounts and types of purchases, years of attendance) that we maintain about them, communications that the consumer/visitor has directed to our site (e.g., e-mails, customer inquiries), contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number) that we maintain about them , a description of information that we maintain about them. You can access this information by contacting us.

 

Upon request we offer visitors the ability to have inaccuracies corrected in contact information, unique identifiers. Consumers can have this information corrected by contacting us.

With respect to security: When we transfer and receive certain types of sensitive information such as financial or health information, we redirect visitors to a secure server and will notify visitors through a SSL logo and key in your internet browser. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.
